1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Promptodex, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use our service.

2. Description of Service

Promptodex is a platform for creating, sharing, and discovering AI prompts. Users can create prompts with dynamic variables, share them publicly or keep them private, fork others' public prompts, and track version history.

3. Account Registration

To use certain features of Promptodex, you must create an account. You agree to:

  • Provide accurate and complete registration information
  • Maintain the security of your account credentials
  • Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access
  • Be responsible for all activity under your account

You must be at least 13 years old to create an account.

4. User Content

Your Content

You retain ownership of the prompts and content you create on Promptodex. By posting content publicly, you grant Promptodex and other users a non-exclusive license to view, fork, and build upon your work in accordance with the platform's features.

Forking

When you make a prompt public, you acknowledge that other users may fork (copy and modify) your prompt. Forks automatically link back to the original prompt. You may not prevent others from forking public prompts.

Content Restrictions

You agree not to post content that:

  • Violates any applicable law or regulation
  • Infringes on intellectual property rights of others
  • Contains malware, spam, or malicious code
  • Is designed to harass, abuse, or harm others
  • Promotes illegal activities or violence
  • Contains content that sexualizes minors
  • Impersonates another person or entity

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Interfere with or disrupt the service or servers
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the service
  • Use the service for any illegal purpose
  • Scrape or collect user data without permission
  • Use automated means to access the service except through our API
  • Circumvent any access or rate-limiting measures

6. Intellectual Property

The Promptodex service, including its design, features, and code, is owned by Promptodex and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or reverse engineer any part of the service.

User-generated prompts remain the property of their creators, subject to the licenses granted by making content public on the platform.

7. Privacy

Your use of Promptodex is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect, use, and protect your information.

8. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms or for any other reason at our discretion. You may delete your account at any time through your account settings.

Upon termination, your right to use the service ceases immediately. Your public prompts that have been forked may continue to exist as independent copies owned by other users.

9. Disclaimers

Promptodex is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that:

  • The service will be uninterrupted or error-free
  • Prompts shared by users will produce desired results with AI models
  • Content posted by users is accurate or appropriate
  • The service will meet your specific requirements

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Promptodex shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of the service.

Our total liability for any claims arising from these terms or your use of the service shall not exceed the amount you paid us, if any, in the 12 months prior to the claim.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Promptodex, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the service, your content, or your violation of these terms.

12. Changes to Terms

We may modify these terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes by email or through the service. Your continued use of Promptodex after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

13. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Delaware.
